'Hotel Rotterdam, Wake up in it 2012' can be organized thanks to participation of:

  • Art Rotterdam

Over the past years Art Rotterdam, founded in 2000, has developed into an internationally renowned platform for contemporary art. The fair, that presents more than ninety well-known as well as upcoming galleries from home and abroad, shows the latest developments within contemporary art.

  • Museum Boymans van Beuningen

Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is one of the oldest museums in the Netherlands. In 1849 the lawyer Boijmans left his art collection to the city of Rotterdam. With the acquisition of the Van Beuningen collection in 1958 the museum got the second part of its name. The museum houses a unique collection of paintings, sculptures and everyday objects. The collection of prints and drawings is one of the best in the world. The museum also organises a diverse programme of spectacular temporary exhibitions throughout the year.

  • Kunsthal

The Kunsthal Rotterdam stages some 25 exhibitions a year. The Kunsthal presents culture in the widest sense of the word: old art, new art, design, photography - from elitist to popular. The Kunsthal frequently experiments with themes which in many cases provide the first impulse for an exhibition.

  • Centrum Beeldende Kunst Rotterdam

CBK Rotterdam is the expert on contemporary art in Rotterdam. It connects art, the city, artists and public by a diverse programme.

  • Boom & Tuin

    Sijp Tewitt, our transport hero!

  • City of Rotterdam

Rotterdam is the second-largest city in the Netherlands, and one of the largest ports in the world. One of Europe's most vibrant, multicultural cities, Rotterdam is known for its university (Erasmus), cutting-edge architecture, lively cultural life, striking riverside setting and maritime heritage. The last couple of years Rotterdam invested in the public space of its inner city, with the goal to create a City Lounge, a space where people meet, stay and repose.
